The LIFE ReNatural NZEB Project team has visited the Santa Engracia Neighborhood, in Badajoz.

The Santa Engracia Neighborhood is located on the north of the city and it’s one of the four locations selected to develop the demonstrator projects.

The Santa Engracia Neighborhood is composed by 800 houses. It was founded in the 60s as a neighborhood reception unit for people who came to the city from rural areas. The whole neighborhood has the same typology of houses, with small bankruptcies between them. Most of the houses had three bedrooms, except for the corner ones that had four. At present, houses have undergone major transformations.
